October is here and Texas Fine Wine invites wine enthusiasts to ‘Come on over y’all’ and celebrate Texas Wine Month with us.

Texas Fine Wine and our four wineries – Bending Branch Winery, Duchman Family Winery, Pedernales Cellars and Spicewood Vineyards – have some great activities in October to honor the end of the 2025 harvest season and pay tribute to the dedicated growers and winemaking families behind our exceptional Texas wines.

We are also part of the ‘Come Over October’ initiative that invites consumers to gather with friends and family to share a bottle of wine and celebrate wine’s rich history, culture and community.

Here are our Top 10 Ways to Celebrate Texas Wine Month:

  1. Attend the Texas Fine Wine Annual Dinner on Saturday, October 4 at Duchman Family Winery. Enjoy a delicious five-course, locally inspired dinner by Duchman Chef Antonio paired with five spectacular Texas wines.

  2. For the entire month of October, Pedernales Cellars will host live music every Saturday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Grab a bottle of Aletheia Rosé – Pedernales’ first wine made with organic grapes – and sit on the Pedernales deck with one of the most spectacular views in the Texas Hill Country.

  3. We know it’s Texas football season but don’t worry! You can still head out to Texas Wine Country and not miss a game. Spicewood Vineyards is hosting college football watch parties every Saturday so come on over! In fact – bring a group and enjoy The Get Together, Texas’ first premium boxed wine. This Bordeaux-style red is a crowd pleaser!
  1. Check out the new and expanded tasting room at Bending Branch Winery and taste the first Texas wines aged in Texas white oak. That’s right – Texas terroir at its best! Oh, and did we mention that Bending Branch also has two bourbon brands? Something for everyone!

  2. Can’t make the Texas Fine Wine dinner on October 4 at Duchman? You can still enjoy great Duchman wines during its October 11 Music on the Lawn with Monte Rose or head out the weekend of October 25-26 for market days and a pumpkin patch for the kids.

  3. Looking for wineries with snacks and food? Our wineries have you covered! Duchman Family Winery’s in-house chef makes pizzas and other seasonal bites – grab a bottle and enjoy dinner under the oak trees. Pedernales, Spicewood and Bending Branch all offer cheese and charcuterie boards, too!
  1. Grab some friends and eat at a local restaurant or visit a friendly bar that carries Texas wine. Our favorites: Cabernet Grill in Fredericksburg with an all-Texas wine list; Dai Due in Austin, one of the city’s first farm-to-table restaurants; and Re:Rooted 210 in San Antonio that offers Texas wines on tap and by the bottle. Tell them Texas Fine Wine sent you!
  1. Did you know Bending Branch Winery is the Tannat House of Texas? Don’t know much about the big, bold red grape Tannat? Plan to attend the Tannat Talk and Tasting at Bending Branch on October 24 and hear Hill Country winemakers talk about what sets their Tannats apart.

  2. If the ACL Festival gets too hectic for you, remember Duchman Family Winery and Spicewood Vineyards are less than an hour away. Get out of the crowds and head to Texas Wine Country. We’ll have a refreshing glass waiting for you.

  3. Ready to spend the entire month touring Texas Wine Country? Save some money and pick up a Texas Hill Country Wineries Texas Wine Month passport for complimentary tastings and bottle discounts.

So what are you waiting for? Come on over y’all and celebrate Texas wines with us!
