Awards season is in full swing and Texas Fine Wine is excited to announce its wineries are bringing home gold medals and other top honors. Big shout-out to Pedernales Cellars that won “Best of Herd Texas Winery” with a Double Gold for its 2020 Valhalla and five Gold medals for its 2022 Viognier Reserve, 2020 Tempranillo – Lahey Vineyards, 2020 Texas High Plains Malbec, 2022 Viognier, and 2021 Texas Tempranillo at the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo Wine Competition.
Also shining bright at the San Antonio competition was Bending Branch Winery that won two Golds for its 2020 Petit Verdot, Newsom Vineyards and 2019 Double Barrel Tannat, and Spicewood Vineyards for its 2020 Dell Valley Vineyards Louisa.
