Texas Fine Wine is excited to support the ‘Come Over October’ campaign to celebrate how good company, conversation and laughter over a meal and wine enhances life. Come Over October is what we are all about: getting together over a fabulous bottle of Texas wine to create connections and experiences.

Wine is part of the fabric of our lives and the friendships with so many people we have met over the years. So ‘Come On Over Y’all’ and visit our wineries and celebrate the role wine plays in getting people together around a table and creating friendships and memories.

To celebrate, here are the Come Over October events hosted by Texas Fine Wine and our wineries:

Texas Fine Wine Dinner, Saturday, Oct. 5

Texas Fine Wine is celebrating our 10th anniversary of working together as a group to share and promote the exceptional and diverse wines made by Bending Branch Winery, Duchman Family Winery, Pedernales Cellars and Spicewood Vineyards. Over the past 10 years, we are honored to have played a role in establishing Texas as a respected wine region known for its diversification, sophistication and caliber of wines.

At our annual Texas Fine Wine dinner, we will feature wines perfectly paired with a terrific menu prepared by Duchman Executive Chef Antonio Ruiz. So ‘Come On Over Y’all’ and join us for a festive evening of good wine, good food and good friends.

Pedernales Cellars Come Over October Live Music Series, every Saturday in October

Come On Over and get ready to boogie down to live music at Pedernales Cellars’ Live Music Series happening every Saturday in October from 1 p.m. – 5 p.m. Bring your friends and grab a bottle or two and relax on Pedernales’ deck or vast lawn while listening to featured artists including Bruce Smith, Julia Rose, Jake Martin and Royce Reed.

For an afternoon of music and views, we’d recommend grabbing a bottle of Pedernales’ 2022 Viognier Reserve, the newly released 2023 Over the Moon Rosé or the 2019 Mourvèdre.

Bending Branch Winery’s Come Over for Texas Wine Month Pizza Pairing Luncheon, Saturday, October 26

Hosting its first Texas wine and pizza pairing, Bending Branch will pair its wines with Caesar salad and three different pizzas from La Calabria Pizzeria. With the Caesar salad, enjoy the Tannat Frizzante, and how about these pizzas and pairings: Florentine Pizza with Picpoul Blanc, Figgy Piggy Pizza with Petite Verdot and Maximus Meat Pizza with Estate Tannat.

Come on over with your friends – and plan to meet new wine fans – for a pizza lunch and wine afternoon.

Duchman Family Winery’s Paella Party and Live Music, Sunday, October 27

Nothing says get a big group together and share some wine than a paella party! Come on over y’all to Duchman on Sunday, October 27 where Duchman Executive Chef Antonio Ruiz will serve up paella while you pick out a great bottle to pair with it.

For the seafood paella, we’d suggest a bottle of the Duchman Roussanne or Vermentino, and for the heavier paella, go with the Sangiovese or Montepulciano.
