We are featuring another great wine for Father’s Day – the Pedernales Cellars 2020 Tempranillo Reserve.
Made with primarily Tempranillo as well as some Graciano, Alicante Bouschet and Cinsault, this bold red has good tannins and structure, both earth and fruit notes and terrific balance. It won Double Gold at the 2023 Finger Lakes International Wine Competition.
With aromas of black cherries, brown sugar and caramel, the Tempranillo Reserve shows velvety black cherries and cocoa on the palate. This is the perfect wine to pair with rosemary-crusted prime rib, rillette and red meats.
