While Duchman Family Winery has always featured its favorite Italian white wine, Vermentino, it also has a newfound love for Roussanne – a great choice for Chardonnay lovers. This pretty white has notes of pear and tropical fruit, with a nice mouthfeel – and it won Gold at this year’s San Franciso Chronicle Wine Competition.
Duchman Family Winery has a fun day planned for Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 12 from noon to 3 p.m. Head over to “Mother’s Day Market on the Lawn” and grab a bottle of Roussanne to enjoy while listening to live music by Robert Parker Jr. You can also pre-purchase cheese and charcuterie boards with “Best Mom Ever’ inscribed on them and visit on-site vendors who will have plenty of things Mom will adore.
