TEXAS FINE WINE HOSTS SUMMER DINNER WITH PAIRINGS
Enjoy Wines from Four of Texas’ Most Distinguished Wineries at June 27 Dinner at Duchman Family Winery
CENTRAL TEXAS June 17, 2014 – Wine enthusiasts can taste wines from four award-winning Texas wineries at the summer Texas Fine Wine pairing dinner on Friday, June 27 at Duchman Family Winery in Driftwood. The special summer menu features new vintages from the four Texas Fine Wine wineries: Bending Branch Winery, Brennan Vineyards, Duchman Family Winery and Pedernales Cellars.
Texas Fine Wine was founded in early 2014 to promote this distinctive group of highly respected wineries dedicated to producing quality wines sourced from Texas appellation vineyards.
Wine enthusiasts are invited to attend the four-course dinner paired with these Texas wines:
- Spice roasted local carrots, with avocado, orange and cilantro with Duchman Vermentino 2012
- Lobster with potato, Dijon aioli, arugula with Brennan Lily 2012
- Duck ragu, wild mush and gemelli pasta with Pedernales GSM 2012
- Selection of meat (grilled, braised, smoked) with Bending Branch Tannat
Winery representatives will attend and speak at the dinner, which starts at 7 p.m. at Duchman Family Winery, 13308 W Farm to Market 150. The cost is $65 per person, all inclusive (tax/gratuity). Purchase tickets online.
